Midcoast Aviation opens new green completions delivery facility and new technology center in St. Louis

Midcoast Aviation recently opened a 7,200 sq. ft. green completions delivery center to enhance customer’s experience. In addition, the company also opened a new 18,000 sq. ft. technology center.

Located in the company’s new 145,000 sq. ft. hangar, which was completed in October 2008, the green completions delivery center features a lounge, customer offices, briefing rooms and convenient access to aircraft. An aircraft moves to the delivery center for the final phases of its completion and return to the customer.

“Midcoast Aviation is known for providing excellent customer service,” says Midcoast President Kurt Sutterer. “Our new delivery center provides an efficient and comfortable way for customers to accept their aircraft and elevates the customer experience to a world-class level.”

Additionally, Midcoast’s new 18,000 sq. ft. technology center is now operational and houses its entire engineering and certification staff of 140 people under one roof.

“Midcoast provides a special level of service to new aircraft owners, with no two jobs alike,” Sutterer says. “Many projects require significant design, analysis and testing efforts, and with our extensive engineering and certification functions under one roof, we are gaining efficiencies that we can pass on to the customer.”
